Three Countries, Three Flagship Churches

Over the last six weeks, Memie and I have visited three mega-churches (4000-10,000 members) in three countries:

1. Taiwan - Banner Church- Taichung

2. USA - River Valley Church - Minneapolis

3. England - Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) Church - London - Largest Anglican Church in England and home of Alpha program.

Visiting each of these churches in such a short period of time has been a huge blessing. It's awesome to get a "panoramic" view of what God is doing in the nations. The presence of the Lord was so sweet and strong in each place, the preaching resoundingly biblical, and a sense of life was abounding. Despite the dark days covering the earth, God is working as He said he would (Is. 60:1-3). In each place, the sense of His love for His people was so evident. One gets to see afresh how big God is, and how vested He is in meeting people everywhere. In this sabbatical season for me, I'm so excited to fill up my notebook with things I'm learning and observing.
