We can spend $25 on a movie night or pizza and beer, but we can hardly get ourselves to buy a $25 book.  Yet an author may have put a lifetime of work into those 250 pages.  You get their wisdom, insight, and years of sweat for only the price of a nice t-shirt.  Are you kidding me? Even if it's for one life-changing insight, it's the best investment you can make.  As a professor my Dad always said, "Never hesitate to buy books."  That's one of the best pieces of advice I've ever gotten.  And that's Solomon's advice as well.
